When our managing editor delivered my formal job offer two years ago, there were two stipulations:
- That I did my work well and on time (obviously); and
- That I dress up for the Trueline Halloween party, because “We’ve had 100% participation two years running and I’ll be darned if we allow anyone to jeopardize that streak.” (I’m paraphrasing.)
On a picturesque autumn evening, eight of Trueline’s best and brightest piled into a black SUV, bound for Augusta. Their mission: to represent our fair company at the 2019 Best Places to Work (BPTW) Gala.
And represent they did.
For the fourth year in a row, Trueline was one of 100 Maine-based companies to make the list. The results are based on anonymous surveys submitted by employees, covering everything from work culture to management to office accommodations to whether or not the company hosts an annual all-staff rafting trip (oh, we do).
There are three certainties in life: Death, taxes and Trueline being named one of the Best Places to Work in Maine.
How high up on the ladder are we as one of the top 75 places to work in Maine? We’re not sure. We’ll find out later this year.
For now, we’re ecstatic that we made the list of Best Places to Work in Maine for the third year running.
The TrueLine Publishing team made a great showing at the 2017 Best Places to Work in ME award ceremony with nearly a dozen team members in tow.
We win. Again.
For the second year in a row, TrueLine Publishing has been voted onto the list of Maine’s Best Places to Work.
